Session "Nature conservation to mitigate biodiversity loss and climate crisis"
World Biodiversity Forum 2024
The third World Biodiversity Forum "From Science to Action" brings together researchers from all disciplines of biodiversity science with practitioners and societal stakeholders to jointly develop measures and solutions for the conservation of biodiversity and to support the shift towards sustainability.
The Swiss National Park Research Commission, the Swiss National Park and the Wyss Academy for Nature are co-organizing a session on "Nature conservation to mitigate biodiversity loss and climate crisis". We look forward to discussing the effectiveness of protected areas and other conservation measures to promote biodiversity and mitigate climate change.
More information about the session and the conference in general can be found here.
Abstracts can be submitted here until November 19.
